DAFI partners with Gather to Create dGTH

Gather Network partners with Dafi Protocol to explore the creation of synthetic rewards

DAFI is thrilled to announce its partnership with Gather Network, a platform that allows publishers to monetize without ads and provides businesses & developers access to cheap and reliable processing power.

DAFI rewards networks based on their adoption, creating long-term users through synthetics. These synthetics are distributed to users in a reduced quantity initially, to protect a token from hyperinflation. Longer-term users are later rewarded when network demand has grown.

Through this partnership, Gather Network will explore the possibility of creating synthetics of its native token, GTH, to improve liquidity and distribute rewards through its network. Whilst Dafi protocol will start looking into the possibility of using Gather Network to monetize our platform via Gather Online.

Synthetic tokens (dGTH) for Gather Network’s Reward program

Gather Network is developing a new way for businesses to monetize online. It solves the dual issues of expensive cloud computing and intrusive ads. Through three-layer solutions, Gather provides scalable and predictable revenue, reliable consultancy services, and affordable processing power.

DAFI enables any blockchain, cryptocurrency, or application to create their own version of a dToken, each pegged to their own native token demand.

With Dafi’s collaboration, Gather will explore the creation of synthetic tokens, dGTH, in a reduced quantity, pegged to the demand of the Gather network. This token could then be used for the distribution of rewards to publishers/users without inducing GTH supply shocks. The potential dGTH token will also help improve liquidity, spur adoption, and foster network demand.

Raghav Reggie Jerath, CEO of Gather Network — DAFI has come up with a very innovative idea of using synthetic dTokens that tackle both inflation and network demand. We believe this could potentially change the way tokenomics of blockchain projects function. Gather Network is keen to see how we could utilize this mechanism of synthetics, and potentially use dGTH for the distribution of rewards in our network.

Zain Rana, CEO at DAFI — Gather Network is trying to help publishers generate income without having to rely on ads. Devs and enterprises in return have access to cheap and reliable processing power from the end-user. This whole system can only work with a robust reward distribution program. We believe by utilizing DAFI’s synthetic dTokens, Gather could take a step closer in their dream of unlocking a new type of business model for the internet.

About DAFI protocol

DAFI uses synthetics pegged to different decentralized networks. Every blockchain, application, and cryptocurrency can create a flavour of a dToken to reward their early users, while still enhancing scarcity when demand is low.

DAFI can reward a network even when demand declines, by issuing synthetics that will reward user’s later — instead of earlier.

About Gather

Gather has developed a powerful new technology that allows web and mobile developers to earn money by contributing processing power , unlike any other digital monetization tool available today. Imagine an Internet where web and application developers can generate revenue without having to rely on intrusive Ads. A new revenue stream without ads, and one that is reliable and rewarding. The processing power gathered will then be redistributed, providing a cheaper alternative to current Cloud markets products. Gather is unlocking a new type of business model for the internet by allowing publishers to monetize without ads and by providing businesses and developers access to affordable and reliable processing power.
